Three quotes that should make you hang up
- "$29 service call." That number buys a salesperson a seat in your garage. The quote that follows is usually two to three times fair market, and the pitch relies on you feeling committed because they are already there.
- "You need a whole new door." Sometimes true. But if you called about a spring and the answer is a $2,400 door, ask exactly what is wrong with the sections — and get it in writing.
- "This price is only good today." A garage door is not a timeshare. Any legitimate quote is still honoured on Thursday.
Pricing questions
Why do you publish prices when most companies do not?
Because "we would have to see it" is true for maybe one call in ten and a stalling tactic for the other nine. A standard torsion spring on a standard door is a known quantity. Publishing the number means you can compare us before you pick up the phone, which is exactly the point.
Is the price on this page what I will actually pay?
It is the range your job will fall inside. The exact number is confirmed in writing on site once we have seen the door, before any work starts, and it does not change afterwards. If we find something else while working, we stop and show you before touching it.
Do you charge a service call fee?
A $59 diagnostic fee covers a full 22-point inspection and a written quote, and it is credited toward the repair if you go ahead. New door and replacement quotes are free with no fee at all.
Do you charge extra for evenings, weekends or holidays?
Our regular hours run to 8pm Monday through Saturday and 5pm Sunday at standard rates. Genuine after-hours emergency dispatch carries a premium, and you get the full number on the phone before we roll — never invented once the technician is in your driveway.
Do you offer discounts?
10% off any repair for active duty military, veterans, police, fire and EMS — no paperwork, just mention it. Senior discounts and multi-door pricing on two or more doors are also available.
